When a life insurance claim is denied, delayed, or tied up in a beneficiary dispute, families are often dealing with far more than legal questions. They’re grieving, navigating financial uncertainty, and trying to make sense of an insurance process that rarely feels fair.

That’s why Taylor founded Life Legal.

Taylor has dedicated her entire legal career to insurance litigation, focusing exclusively on life insurance claims, ERISA benefit disputes, beneficiary litigation, and insurance appeals. Rather than trying to be a lawyer for every legal issue, she has built her practice around becoming an authority in one highly specialized area of law.

Over the course of her career, Taylor has recovered millions of dollars in wrongfully denied or disputed life insurance benefits for clients across the country. She has represented beneficiaries, policyholders, and families in matters involving employer-sponsored life insurance plans, accidental death claims, beneficiary disputes, coverage denials, policy rescissions, lapse issues, and complex ERISA litigation.

Clients often tell Taylor that one of the most difficult parts of dealing with an insurance company is feeling like no one is listening. She believes legal representation should be different. That means returning phone calls, explaining complicated legal issues in plain English, keeping clients informed throughout their case, and making sure they never feel like they’re facing the process alone.

“Insurance companies have teams of professionals protecting their interests. Families deserve someone just as committed to protecting theirs.”

Taylor is known for combining strategic, detail-oriented legal advocacy with a practical, approachable style that helps clients feel confident during an otherwise overwhelming time. She understands that behind every case is a family, not just a claim number.

Before founding Life Legal, Taylor worked for several respected insurance litigation firms in the Philadelphia area, where she developed extensive experience representing client sin complex insurance disputes. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania before earning her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University. While in law school, she served as a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow, competing on the Trial Team, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Trial Advocacy.

Outside the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, whether it’s a day at the lake, relaxing by the pool, or coaching her son’s soccer team. When she finds a quiet moment, she enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts and tackling her latest craft project.

Whether she’s advocating for clients in the courtroom or coaching young athletes on the soccer field, Taylor believes that preparation, perseverance, and genuine care for people are what lead to the best outcomes.
