No Hidden Fees.
People from all walks of life get life insurance policies; some inevitably end up with life insurance issues. Since technology has given us all access to information at our fingertips, I tend to have clients who conduct searches to find the answers to their questions before ever contacting Life Legal. As a result, each client has a varying amount of knowledge about their life insurance issue. To gauge what I can do to be most helpful, I like to have a free but thorough conversation geared toward each client’s specific needs.
Additionally, it’s no secret that there is generally a distrust associated with attorneys due to their high costs and lack of transparency with pricing. Therefore, during our discussion, my goal is to create a clear plan of action and fee agreement thereby eliminating any concerns about moving forward in the process.

Contingency Fee: for delayed and denied claims, the amount of work required and the outcome can vary greatly. Prior to representation, a contingency fee percentage will be agreed upon. That percentage will apply only if the insurance company issues payment on the client’s claim. For example, if the insurance company doesn’t pay out any money whatsoever on a client’s claim, the client does not pay for the services provided by Life Legal regardless of the amount of time spent on the case. If the insurance company issues any amount of payment on a client’s claim, the contingency fee percentage will be applied to the amount paid by the company as compensation for the services provided. Life Legal’s contingency fee percentages vary depending on the initial review of the case and the amount and type of work required.
